How I ship an MVP in weeks, not months
Published 2026-07-22
Most MVPs here take weeks rather than months. That is not a hustle claim, it is a process outcome. This is the exact process, the same five steps behind 50+ shipped projects.
1. Discover
Before any code, I need to understand the real problem, the users and the workflow. For product MVPs that means the core loop a user must complete. For internal tools it means watching how the spreadsheet actually gets used, because the spreadsheet is always lying about the process.
2. Scope
The idea becomes a written feature list, prioritized, with a timeline and an honest cost estimate. Where possible I work fixed scope, so the number we agree on is the number you pay. The scoping call that produces this plan is free, and you keep the plan either way.
3. Build in short sprints
You see working software from the first sprint, not a big reveal at the end. Flutter plus Firebase or Supabase means one codebase for Android, iOS and web with the backend largely handled, which is where most of the speed comes from.
4. Review on your own phone
Every review cycle ends with a build you can open on your own device and a direct line on WhatsApp. My clients are spread across five time zones and it has never been a problem. The thing clients mention most in testimonials is not having to chase me for updates.
5. Launch and support
Store releases, fixes and improvements as real users show up. BTE has been live for 18+ months of daily use. Several apps I built years ago are still in the stores. Shipping is the start of the work, not the end.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need from me to start?
Just the idea, in plain words. A free scoping call turns it into a concrete feature list, timeline and cost estimate. Wireframes and specs help but are not required.
Who owns the result?
You do. Full source code, your repositories, your store and cloud accounts, from day one. No lock-in.
