Faizan Malik · Flutter and full-stack mobile app developer · Islamabad, Pakistan

I build software for founders.

Software that ships. Flutter and full-stack mobile app developer building MVPs, mobile products and internal software.

Stats

  • 50+ Projects shipped
  • 6+ Years building
  • 11+ Companies served
  • <24h Reply time

The problem I solve

  • The whole operation lives in Excel sheets that only one person really understands.
  • Orders arrive on WhatsApp, get retyped into a spreadsheet, then into an invoice. Twice a week, something slips.
  • The app idea has been "almost ready to build" for a year, because every quote came back at six months and agency prices.

A cooking-oil collection company, a healthcare supply chain and a members-only social club all hit the same wall. Each one fixed it with a single focused developer. Their stories are below.

Two ways I can help

Launch a New Product

For founders turning an idea into a focused first release.

  • Product scoping and feature priorities
  • Flutter build for Android, iOS and web
  • Firebase or Supabase backend, auth and data
  • UI implementation from Figma
  • Store release and post-launch support

A production-ready first release built around what the product needs to prove.

Replace a Manual Workflow

For teams whose day-to-day work has outgrown the tools currently holding it together.

  • Internal dashboards and admin panels
  • Role-based access and reporting
  • Workflow automation
  • Web and mobile access for field teams
  • Post-launch support as the team adopts it

One shared system for the records, handoffs and decisions your team manages every day.

Flutter supports both offers with a shared codebase across Android, iOS and web, backed by Firebase or Supabase.

Case studies

BTE: UCO Collection Management

Operations / Logistics · Full-stack design & development

A used-cooking-oil collection business serving restaurant and food-chain outlets ran its whole operation on separate spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and manual coordination.

A cloud operations platform on web and mobile for both admins and field teams: work orders, route planning, pickup and cash entries, cash control and reconciliation, cash returns, approvals, supplier records, task assignment, performance analytics by team and city, CSV and Excel exports, and an interactive collection map.

Collections from 4,000+ supplier outlets and 2,000+ work orders now run through one system across 9 field teams. Live for 18+ months and in daily use.

Kapsule: Healthcare Supply Chain

Healthcare / Logistics · Senior full-stack developer, team lead

Medical facilities, patients and suppliers needed a faster way to move orders, deliveries and inventory through the healthcare supply chain.

A suite of apps covering the chain end to end: on-demand delivery apps, medical data analytics dashboards and a pharmacy point-of-sale.

Four apps in production across the supply chain. Orders, deliveries and stock move through one connected system every day.

Tidely: Cash Flow & Liquidity App

Finance / Web · Flutter Web frontend, as part of a small dev team

Businesses lose track of liquidity when cash-flow data lives in scattered tools and static reports.

A cash-flow and liquidity planning SaaS for the German market: live dashboards, forecasting with plan values and scenario comparison, rule-based transaction categorization, invoices, reports, and bank and ERP integrations. Shipped in German and English.

In production with multiple customers, including white-label deployments. Finance teams read their liquidity position from one live dashboard.

Mixer: Social Chat & Visual Memos

Consumer / Social · Lead mobile developer, team lead

Expressive communication needs more than plain text threads. The product vision combined chat, visual collections and memos in one place.

A social mobile product with group conversations, photo and video sharing, visual mixes, memo-style notes and live notifications.

Chat, media and real-time notifications built to consumer-app polish. The founder kept extending the engagement, many months in.

FieldNest: Offline-First Field Data Collection

Field Operations / Environmental · Full-stack design & development

Huffman Environmental ran its field surveys on a commercial data-collection SaaS. Costs grew with every seat, and the team wanted more control over its data and how the platform behaved.

A custom platform the company owns outright. An admin web app with a drag-and-drop form builder covering 11 field types, including nested sections and repeatable groups, plus records browsing, activity notifications, CSV exports and per-record PDF reports. An offline-first Flutter mobile app stores records locally with photos and GPS location, then syncs when connectivity returns. A TypeScript and Node.js API with MongoDB sits behind both.

Field teams capture records anywhere, with or without signal, and admins build and change forms themselves. The per-seat subscription is gone and the company owns the platform end to end.

Azima: No-Collateral Micro-Loans

Fintech / Mobile · Native Android development

The client had an existing microfinance user base and an app that was not converting them. The interface was rough and people abandoned the loan flow before finishing a request.

A full rebuild on a new frontend and backend: a clean, focused interface, a loan request that takes a few taps, mobile money and card repayment, and a live status flow from request to payout. I built the native Android app.

The rebuilt app passed 100,000+ downloads on Google Play, and far more people who opened it finished a loan request than on the version it replaced.

Testimonials

Extraordinary professional! He is deliberate with his project scoping and implements with great attention to every detail. One of his most important skill sets is his ability to self-manage and keep our project moving forward no matter my availability, or the lack thereof.

Collins Mugume, Co-Founder, Azima · Fintech app · 100,000+ downloads

There are developers, and then there is Faizan. An outstanding senior software developer and an asset to any project: on-demand delivery apps, medical data analytics dashboards, pharmacy point-of-sale and more. His willingness to take responsibility and excellent communication make him a pleasure to work with.

Hannan Hashmi, Co-CEO, Kapsule · Four apps shipped · Healthcare supply chain

It has been an amazing experience to work with Faizan on my app. Many months in, I have only seen positives. He is very knowledgeable, very quick and, most importantly, very quick at learning new things. Incredibly resourceful when it comes to finding a solution to a problem.

Frequently asked questions

I only have an idea. Is that enough to start?

Yes. That is how most projects here start. A free scoping call turns the idea into a concrete feature list, a realistic timeline and an honest cost estimate. You keep the plan even if we never work together.

How long does an MVP take?

Most MVPs here take weeks, not months, because the scope gets cut to what actually proves the idea. You see working software from the first sprint instead of a big reveal at the end.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope, and that is exactly why the scoping call is free. You get a real estimate against a real feature list. Where possible I work fixed scope, so the number we agree on is the number you pay.

Will I have to chase you for updates?

No, and that is the thing clients mention most. You get a direct line on WhatsApp, short review cycles and builds you can open on your own phone. My clients are spread across five time zones, and it has never been a problem.

Why Flutter instead of native or React Native?

Because for most products it is the fastest honest route to Android, iOS and web from one codebase. I have shipped native Kotlin apps too, including Azima and Lengo, so when a project genuinely needs native, I say so. For a typical MVP, Flutter gets you to real users sooner without a second codebase to pay for.

Do you work with non-technical founders?

Most of my clients are non-technical founders or operators. You do not need a spec or wireframes. Bring the idea in plain words, and the scoping call turns it into a feature list and plan you can read without any jargon.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source code, your repositories, your store and cloud accounts, all from day one. No lock-in.

What happens after launch?

The work continues after go-live: store releases, fixes and improvements as real users show up. Several apps I built years ago are still live in the stores today.

Process

  • Discover: Understand the real problem, the users and the workflow before any code.
  • Scope: Map features and flows into a concrete, prioritized plan.
  • Build: Short development sprints with working software early.
  • Review: You see progress often, and your feedback shapes each sprint.
  • Launch & support: Deployment, store releases and iteration after go-live.
